Bernese Female

The Schleich Bernese Female brings a familiar four-legged character to imaginative play. Children can make her part of a family home, a country walk or an animal-care story, giving the figure a role in scenes they create themselves.

She can join other Schleich animals as a companion, greet visitors in a pretend household or accompany an imaginary owner on an outdoor adventure. Moving the figure between play scenes encourages storytelling and helps children think about how animals might fit into different everyday situations.

A friendly character for animal stories

As a Bernese dog figure, she can inspire conversations about different dog breeds and the ways dogs appear in family life. Children can notice her breed identity, compare her with other animal figures and build a small collection around pets, farms or countryside play.

Simple figure play also supports imagination, language and fine motor skills as children position the dog, create dialogue and decide what happens next. She is equally suited to open-ended play on her own or as part of a wider collection.
