Dog Kennel

Schleich Dog Kennel gives dog-themed play a place to begin. Children can create a home for a toy dog, decide who looks after it and build everyday stories around feeding, resting and exploring.

The kennel can become part of a garden, farm or countryside scene. A child might imagine a dog returning after an adventure, settling down for the night or waiting while its owner prepares to go outside. These familiar routines help make pretend play easy to start and easy to extend.

A home for dog stories

Adding a kennel gives animal play a sense of place. Children can move a dog figure in and out of the scene, arrange other characters nearby and use their own words to explain what is happening. This supports imaginative storytelling and simple role play without prescribing one fixed adventure.

The Dog Kennel suits children who already enjoy dog figures or who are building a wider farm and countryside setting. It can also help connect separate animal figures into one shared play world, giving each character a home and a reason to visit.
